Donna’s dream with Jimmy Swaggart:
I dreamed that one morning I went to church, and as I was walking to the door I stopped and stood back to watch some old men looking at something over the door. They would look at it, shake their heads and walk away. Then other old men would walk up and look, shake their head also. I got closer to see what they were looking at. Up over the door was a strange sight. A bunch of nails had been driven in the door facing. Some were driven straight and some were driven in crooked and some were over lapping each other. I ask one of the old timers who was the one responsible for this and he told me it was Jimmy Swaggart. I went on in the church and when the preacher started to preach it was in such a manner that it brought people to their feet shouting and praising God. But I sat still and watched the preacher and while the people were making all the noise they couldn’t hear him cursing and saying filthy words. That was the end of the dream. Several days went by and I couldn’t get that dream out of my mind. So I prayed and asked the Lord to give me some meaning to the dream. A few days later I went to a meeting and a woman was the speaker. When she was closing she said, "And when you drive that nail in make sure you drive it in straight". OK, I thought, she knows something I don’t . So I ask what she meant by driving in nails straight. Then she took me to the book of Ezra Ch.9 verse 8. Well you know the book of Ezra and how it goes. I told her about the dream and she said she tried to talk to Jimmy and he wouldn’t listen. Also she said a elderly woman went to him and told him she was praying for him and he flat out told her he didn’t need her prayers that he could do his own praying.

William Cook’s interpretation of Donna’s dream with Jimmy Swaggart:
Just in short concerning Jimmy's nails, I believe strongly that as in the situation from Ezra 9v8, the Israelites' continued stubbornness and disobedience to the Lord, and God time and again withdrawing His Hand of Grace from them, causing the enemies to devour and destroy them. This is what is going to happen as far as JS is concerned; his continued stubbornness and prideful heart is causing God to withdraw His Hand of Grace from JSM. The Holy Spirit has these past few weeks dropped this into my heart:

1. Some nails were driven in straight....suggesting that at times the gospel is preached and taught in truth and without compromise.
2. Some nails were driven in crooked...suggesting that at times the gospel is preached in error, and not in truth.
3. Some nails were driven overlapping...suggesting that the gospel is preached/proclaimed in truth one moment and then proclaimed in error the next without even the audiences realizing that it is being brought in error.

Jimmy preaches only on certain subjects such as sanctification and justification, but he contradicts himself so much that even his flock has become confused.
Remember the sermon 'Is Jimmy Swaggart For Real', and the part where it was spoken of his 'drunken state', and his ability to beguile people with his talents after years of practice.
