Is it possible for someone to make Jesus Christ the Lord of their life, by giving Him total control of their life, but yet deny Christ His lordship by taking back their life at a later point in time? I mean, is it possible for someone to be saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ one moment, but yet lose that same salvation sometime later? Well, in the 1987 tract “The Four Brothers”, Jack T. Chick uses Jesus’ “Parable Of The Sower” to illustrate this very important principle that “Once Saved” does NOT necessarily mean “Always Saved”. As you will see in the tract, four (4) of the brothers gave their lives to Jesus at a tent revival service… but yet only one (1) of those four (4) actually made it into Heaven on Judgment Day:

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Mark 13:13 KJV)

Now as important as “The Four Brothers” tract was in refuting the damnable “Once Saved Always Saved” doctrine, it was only a matter of months after it’s 1987 publication that the tract was pulled “forever” from production and sales. In other words, “The Four Brothers” tract is no more.

However, it was some nineteen (19) years later (2006) that Jack T. Chick resurrected “The Four Brothers” tract under the name of “Four Angels?” The artwork was basically the same but yet the message was something entirely different. You see Jack T. Chick neutered the “Once Saved NOT Always Saved” message contained in “The Four Brothers” tract and made the “Four Angels?” tract support, (instead of condemn), the damnable “Once Saved Always Saved” doctrine. And that is the reason for the writing of our recent sermonet entitled “The Four Brothers’ Tract And Jack T. Chick’s Sin!

But then it was in 2014, some twenty-seven (27) years later, that Jack T. Chick openly promoted the damnable “Once Saved Always Saved” doctrine in his “Just One More” tract that he had so righteously condemned in his tract “The Four Brothers”. And, of course, that is the reason for the writing of our recent sermonet entitled “Jack T. Chick – Founder Of Chick Publications – Is In Critical Condition!

So there you have a little history about “The Four Brothers” tract that was and is no more. But by the grace of God, you can now read it and hopefully understand the reason we’ve had to say what we said in “The Four Brothers’ Tract And Jack T. Chick’s Sin!” and “Jack T. Chick – Founder Of Chick Publications – Is In Critical Condition!
